I have known Brent for a few years – always friendly and professional. I have seen him working about many times, always with a friendly smile. Brent has always taken the time to do repairs on my apartment and work with me in the office in the same manner.

I have been a resident of 822 Glen St. since December 2017. Brent has been the superintendent of this building since I have been here. Brent has always been friendly, welcoming and approachable at any time of day or night. He always goes out of his way to chat when we run into each other. I have had some issues with my apartment and Brent has always fixed or gotten the issue resolved in a timely fashion. I am happy with the way Brent handles things around the building. He always appears to be busy, friendly and takes the time to make sure I as a tenant am OK. I appreciate all Brent has done for me to help my living on Glen Street be a positive experience.

I have always had positive experiences when dealing with Brent when it comes to having a repair made or stove replacement. I have also had him be right there for me when it came to the electrical panel smoking when one of the large fuses blew.  He was polite and happy to help and replace the fuse right away. As this happened when I was in the middle of making dinner and had food in the oven cooking. In the 7 years that I have been living in this building I have never once seen Brent with a frown nor have I ever heard him talk nasty to people.  It has always been a joy having Brent deal with my apartment issue.

I want to tell you about a “young” man I am very jealous of. I have known this guy for approaching two years and he is probably one of the most incredible human beings I’ve ever met in my somewhat long life. I can’t imagine what he goes through dealing with the woes and wailing of over a hundred tenants in this building. And as you know, it’s not a new building. Yet he keeps it going. He makes people happy and works very hard. But through it all, I’ve rarely — if EVER — seen him without a smile on his face. Every time I go to pay the rent, we laugh. He has got to be one of the most joyful people I’ve ever met. Stress bounces off of him like water off a duck’s back. I tell him often that I wish I had his temperament. And you can tell it’s not manufactured. It’s just the way he is. That’s the kind of face you want facing your tenants. Brent is a wonderful man. It’s my hope that you’re as aware of this fact as I am. He did not ask me to write this. I came home from driving my wife to work and found my parking space hand shoveled. When I was up very early this morning he was out in the parking lot with a shovel before the sun was even up helping people dig out of their parking spaces and just radiating that Brent aura that can’t help but do things for your soul that coffee can’t even do. You need to keep this guy for a very long time.
